If you’re looking to unearth the most glamorous version of yourself, Laura Shkreli has all the skills to showcase your beauty. The Mount Kisco resident always knew she wanted to work with hair, but first began her professional journey in cosmetology with makeup. 

At 16-years-old, Shkreli became a certified makeup artist with Bobbi Brown, and went on to work with Dior, Bare Minerals, and Borghese. The free-spirited creative decided seven years ago to unleash her passion for hair, and received her certification with Paul Mitchell. “I already knew the color spectrum, the color wheel,” from mixing hues of makeup, she explains. As a result, she is very educated on color, how to mix, and knows what’s best for specific types of hair.

Shkreli is skilled with creating elegant updos, blowouts, and working with curly haired clients. Her signature service is balayage. “I love color. It truly excites me when I transform any hair color,” she shares. A true team player with a big heart, Shkreli’s focus is maintaining her clients healthy hair, and helping them find their inner confidence. “I want to help [clients] to expand their beauty. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. You just want to enhance whatever it is that’s hiding in them.” Her passion exudes through her work. She says, “I love what I do and I think when you love what you do, it’s not even working.”
